ZACHARY, LA
This project is an integral part of a new BREC park system in East Baton Rouge Parish. The community center provides basic facilities usable for a wide variety of activities ranging from after school programs, to summer camps, to movie presentations. The main space includes plentiful natural lighting along with provisions for natural ventilation when the weather permits. Playful floor patterning and ceiling treatments bring the space to life and join the exterior form with the interior space. In conjunction with the main room there are restrooms, a small office, and equipment storage spaces.
